The Technology Impact Award from the Cancer Research Institute provides seed funding to address the gap between technology development and clinical application of cancer immunotherapies. The Award seeks to encourage collaboration between technology developers and cancer immunotherapy clinicians/researchers to develop innovative platforms that may include bioinformatics, ex vivo or in silico modeling systems, immunological or tumor profiling instrumentation, methods, reagents and assays, to better understand the underlying mechanisms of cancer immunotherapy. Applicants must hold a faculty appointment as a tenure-track assistant professor (or higher rank) at the time of award activation. Applicants at non-profit research institutions worldwide are encouraged to apply. Award provides funding of up to 200,000 USD (direct costs only) for a period of 12-24 months.
Letters of intent are due November 15, 2023. Full application closing date is March 15, 2024.
