Young Investigator Award for Diversity and Inclusion in Breast Cancer Research (worldwide)

The Young Investigator Award for Diversity and Inclusion in Breast Cancer Research from Conquer Cancer (The ASCO Foundation) and the Breast Cancer Foundation supports young investigators in oncology who are members of underrepresented racial and/or ethnic groups traditionally excluded in academic medicine and biomedical research. The goal of the award is to enhance diversity in the oncology workforce and breast cancer research. The Award is a mentored award and facilitates the transition from a trainee to an independent researcher. Applications are open to U.S. and international applicants. Applicants must be:

  • a physicians (with MD, DO or other international equivalent degree);
  • licensed to practice medicine where the research will be conducted;
  • ASCO members.

The Award provides 50,000 USD for 1 year (up to 2,500 USD may be used for overheads). Applications close on March 13, 2023.
