The AACR Clinical Oncology Research (CORE) Training Fellowships funded by the American Association of Cancer Research are intended for the training of academic clinicians in drug development. The grant consists of 100,000 USD for 1 year and involves the recipient training onsite with one of AACR´s pharmaceutical industry partners to gain knowledge on clinical trial design from a pharmaceutical industry perspective. This program pertains to the following fellowship:

Up to 20% of the grant may be used to fund indirect/institutional overheads. Applicants must be members of the AACR, have a medical degree, are not currently enrolled for a further doctoral degree, and are not employees of the US government. There are no citizenship requirements but the applicant must have the legal rights to work in the USA.
