The ASA Calder Research Scholar Award for Vitiligo/Pigment Cell Disorders is funded by the American Skin Association (ASA) to support US-based early-career researchers working on vitiligo and pigment cell disorders. The individual must have a strong career goal within the field of dermatology and be dedicated to the furtherance of knowledge concerning vitiligo/pigment cell disorders. The research must be focused on new discoveries in the basic or translational medical sciences that impact the understanding or treatment of vitiligo/pigment cell disorders. While there’s no age limit, preference is given to those under 45 years of age and with a ranking of instructor up to associate professor. The award provides 60,000 USD (no indirect costs).
