ASTRO-ACS Clinician Scientist Development Grant (cancer research USA)

The ASTRO-ACS Clinician Scientist Development Grant are funded by the American Cancer Society and the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) to support radiation oncologists in pursuing academic research careers. Applicants must be members of ASTRO, be based at an academic or non-profit research institution in the USA, be within the first 6 years of their first independent faculty appointment and are licensed to practice medicine in the USA. The Grant provides 135,000 USD/year for 3-5 years plus 8% of allowable indirect costs. There are two assessment rounds per year, with closing dates on April 1 and October 15.
