The Career Transition Fellowships from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society support senior postdoctoral researchers in multiple sclerosis who are transitioning to independent research careers. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree and have 2-5 years of postdoctoral experience. For applicants who are US citizens, this award may be used at any research institution worldwide (the same award has a component for multiple sclerosis researchers of any nationality working in the USA; see full guidelines here). The funding is intended to support 2 years of senior postdoctoral fellowship and 3 years of the researcher’s first faculty appointment. Applicants may apply for up to 6000,000 USD for over 5 years, with up to 10% of indirect costs.
The letters of intent are due on May 10, 2023 and invited full applications on August 16, 2023.
