The Career Transition Fellowships from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society support senior postdoctoral researchers in multiple sclerosis who are transitioning to independent research careers. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree and have 2-5 years of postdoctoral experience. Applications are open to US-based researchers without citizenship requirements (multiple sclerosis researchers who are US citizens working anywhere in the world may also apply for this award; see full guidelines here). The funding is intended to support 2 years of senior postdoctoral fellowship and 3 years of the researcher’s first faculty appointment. Applicants may apply for up to 600,000 USD for over 5 years, with up to 10% of indirect costs.

The letters of intent are due on May 10, 2024 and invited full applications on August 14, 2024.
