The Climate and Health Interdisciplinary Awards (CHI) from the Burroughs Wellcome Fund seeks to bring together researchers from multiple disciplines to address the effect of climate change on human health. Collaborative exploratory work that opens new ground for comprehensively assessing or mitigating the impacts of climate change on human health. This program supports both individual scientists and multi-investigator teams. Early career faculty and postdoctoral fellows nearing their transition to independence are especially encouraged to apply, whether individually or within teams. Applicants must be based at US or Canadian research institutions. The award provides up to 375,000 USD for up to 3 years (no indirect costs).
