Cottrell Scholar Award (chemistry, physics, astronomy – USA | Canada)

The Cottrell Scholar Award from the Research Corporation for Science Advancement funds early-career scientists at research universities and primarily undergraduate institutions in the USA and Canada. For the current application cycle, faculty members in chemistry, physics, or astronomy departments who have started their first tenure-track appointments in 2020 are encouraged to apply. Applicants may apply for up to 120,000 USD for projects spanning up to 3 years (no indirect costs).

Applications open on April 1 and close on July 1, 2023.

Intended for: Early-career principal investigators
