NSF Astronomy and Astrophysics Postdoctoral Fellowships (USA)

The NSF Astronomy and Astrophysics Postdoctoral Fellowships funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) support the postdoctoral training of American researchers in astronomy and astrophysics. Applicants must have completed their doctoral degree in a relevant field within the past 5 years or will complete their degree by October 1 following the submission deadline. Applicants must be citizens, nationals, or permanent residents of the USA. Research may be conducted at eligible institutions in the USA or research institutions abroad operated by US organizations and eligible for NSF funding. Fellowship provides 110,000 USD/year for up to 36 months, including family benefits, health insurance, and relocation allowance. The submission window is from August 15 to October 15, the next applications close on October 16, 2023.
