HIV Clinical Fellowship Program (US clinicians)

The HIV Clinical Fellowship Program is jointly funded by the HIV Medicine Association (HIVMA) and the IDSA Foundation with the goal of advancing HIV care by supporting a 1-year clinical training in HIV medicine of recent medical graduates in the USA. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the USA and be Board eligible for their residency training specialty. Mentors must be members of HIVMA.

Applicants must:

  • Demonstrate their intent to practice in the U.S. and to provide care to medically underserved populations.
  • Complete their residency training prior to the start of the fellowship.
  • Not have completed, be currently enrolled or plan to enroll in an infectious diseases fellowship program.

Applications close on December 12, 2022.
