Jacob P. Waletzky Award (neuroscience worldwide)

The Jacob P. Waletzky Award from the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) with funding support from the Waletzky Family, recognizes the outstanding achievement of an early-career neuroscientist whose independent research has significantly advanced our understanding of drug addiction. Nominees must have received their PhD or MD within the past 15 years, direct their independent research laboratory, and do not need to be an SfN member. The Awardee receives $30,000 USD and financial support to attend the SfN annual meeting.

This is an annual award and the next nomination opens on March 28 and closes on May 11, 2023.
