The Jennifer N. Bourne Prize in Brain Ultrastructure from the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) recognizes an early-career neuroscientist for outstanding work that advances our understanding of brain structure and structure-function relationships at the nanometer scale. Nominees must be within the first 5 years of their academic appointments (Assistant Professor or equivalent) and do not need to be an SfN member. Nominations of female and minority candidates are highly encouraged. The Awardee receives 5,000 USD and financial support to attend the SfN annual meeting.
This is an annual award and the next nomination opens on March 28 and closes on May 11, 2023.
