The Mary and Alfie Gray Award for Social Justice from the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) recognizes an individual who has advanced the cause of social justice, defined as promoting a just society by challenging injustice and valuing diversity, through their work in the mathematical sciences. Their work must have been conducted in the USA and nominees must be members of the Society. The awardee will receive a $1000 USD prize, a certificate containing the citation, and an invitation to speak at the subsequent AWM Research Symposium. This is a biennial award with nominations due in May of even years and the award presented in January of odd years.

The next nominations close on May 15, 2024.
