Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Grant (alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency)

The Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Grant funded by the Alpha-1 Foundation supports postdoctoral researchers worldwide studying the basic biology of alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) expression, and the pathogenesis/management of AAT deficiency. Applications will be accepted from candidates holding an M.D., Ph.D. or equivalent degrees who are interested in conducting basic science, clinical research, or ethic, legal, social issues studies related to AAT deficiency. Funding of 75,000 USD/year is available for 2 years (no indirect costs). This is an annual award and the next letters of intent are due September 30, 2022 and invited full applications are due February 17, 2023.
