Research Grants (alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency)

The Research Grants funded by the Alpha-1 Foundation provide funding for researchers worldwide studying the basic biology of alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) expression, and the pathogenesis/management of AAT deficiency. Applicants may apply for up to 100,000 USD/year for 2 years (no indirect costs). This is an annual award and the next letters of intent are due September 30, 2022 and invited full applications are due February 17, 2023.
