Dr. Ernest J. Ring Academic Development Grant (radiology USA & Canada)

The Dr. Ernest J. Ring Academic Development Grant from the SIR Foundation supports junior interventional radiology faculty members early in their academic careers. Applicants must be full-time faculty members at an accredited educational institution in the United States or Canada. Candidates must hold an MD, DO, or Ph.D., or equivalent degree. In addition, applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the USA or Canada. SIR membership is encouraged but not required. The grant provides up to 150,000 USD in funding support for up to 2 years. The grant does not cover institutional overheads/indirect costs. The Proposal Development Form deadline is June 30, 2022. Full applications close annually on January 15 and the next closing date is January 15, 2023.
