SSF Industry-oriented Postdoc (Sweden)
The SSF Industry-oriented Postdoc program from the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) facilitates the collaboration between industry and academia. The program funds recent PhD graduates (within the past 5 years) to conduct collaborative research between industry and academia. Research areas covered include natural science, technology or medicine. The researcher must have at least a 50 percent employment at a university where half of the research also will take place. The remaining time for the research must take place at the company and be linked to their research and development activities. The grant covers a period of one to three years. SSF provides a maximum of 1.5 million SEK each (including indirect costs), and must be co-financed to at least 30 percent by the industry.
