Telethon multi-round call (rare diseases | Italy)
The Telethon multi-round call from Fondazione Telethon (FT) supports researchers in Italy working on rare genetic diseases. The research grants support both basic and pre-clinical research projects focused on rare genetic diseases and conducted by researchers working in Italian public or private non-profit research institutions.
The maximum total budget allowed for each research project is:
- TRACK Basic Research: 80,000 €/year
- TRACK Preclinical Proof of Concept: 120,000 €/year
- Budget can cover salaries up to 50% of the direct costs of the total budget, for personnel not holding a permanent position (for more details on the budget please refer to the Guidelines).
The maximum duration of the proposed project is 24 months for both tracks (first and second).
