Georg Forster Research Award (experienced researchers from developing countries in Germany)

The Georg Forster Research Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation provides fellowship funding for highly qualified experienced researchers from developing countries to conduct research in Germany. Researchers from all academic disciplines whose research supports their countries' sustainable development are encouraged to apply. See the full list of countries eligible for this award. Applicants should have completed their doctorate less than 12 years ago and be appointed at the Assistant Professor / Junior Group Leader or equivalent level. The Fellowship provides stipend funding of 3170 EUR/month + additional benefits for 6-24 months. The application committee meets in February, June and October.
