The Georg Forster Research Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation provides fellowship funding for highly qualified experienced researchers from developing countries to conduct research in Germany. Researchers from all academic disciplines whose research supports their countries’ sustainable development are encouraged to apply. See the full list of countries eligible for this award. The Award provides 60,000 EUR for 12 months.

The application committee meets in February, June and October.
