The Human-Centered Data for Disaster Resilience Research (USA | Japan) research grant from the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and the National Science Foundation supports collaborative research between Japan and the USA focusing on uman-Centered Data for Disaster Resilience. In order to improve our understanding of the complexities in disaster resilience, this call for proposals invites proposals for Japan-U.S. collaborative research which center on human dimensions of disaster resilience, and which employ data and data-driven science to develop insights to improve disaster resilience. Applicants in Japan may apply for up to 75 million JPY for 3 years, including 30% indirect costs. Applicants in the USA may apply for up to 500,000 USD (including indirect costs). Applications close on August 19, 2023.
