The Martha N. Hill Early Career Investigator Award from the American Heart Association (AHA)’s Council on Cardiovascular and Stroke Nursing recognizes the council’s early career investigator members in understanding, preventing and treating cardiovascular diseases. Basic and clinical research will be recognized.
- Applicant must be active in research and still be in training as an undergraduate or pre-doctoral student, or be active in research and within 5 years of completing terminal degree or highest certificate (e.g., MSc, PhD)
- Applicants must be nurse scientists and members of the Council on Cardiovascular and Stroke Nursing
- Applicants must submit an abstract for AHA’s Scientific Sessions 2023
The winner will receive a $1000 honorarium and a complimentary council dinner ticket, plus recognition at the council dinner.
